Success! More than 400,000 people enjoy the San Sebastian International Fair

The 61st edition of the San Sebastian
International Fair in the state of Táchira is taking place with a resounding
success, with more than 150 activities that merge sports, faith and
culture for the enjoyment of the people.
The president of the Táchira Tourism Chamber
, Gustavo Anzola, highlighted the participation of more than 300
stands and the visit of 400,000 people. These figures reflect the enthusiasm for
boosting the local economy through the encounter and rescue of
traditions, according to a note from the Ministry of Tourism.
He also reaffirmed the
commitment of the people of Tachira to regional growth: “This fair
fills us with satisfaction, as it promotes tourism and makes visible the talent of
our entrepreneurs, who exalt the treasures of Táchira,” he said.
In addition, he highlighted the presence of coffee farmers
at the fair, which “demonstrates that the 'Land of Cordiality' provides development
opportunities both for its own and for visitors”,
The
San Sebastian International Fair is positioned as a commercial engine with an international reach.
From the physical demands of cyclists in the Vuelta al Táchira, to
the elegance of livestock and industrial exhibitions, to the
bullfighting tradition in the Plaza Monumental in Pueblo Nuevo, the event reaffirms San
Cristóbal as a first-rate tourist destination on the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
