A total of 51,787,214 kilograms of illegal substances were seized as a result of more than 8,000 operations carried out by the security organs of the Venezuelan State to guarantee peace in the country, said the National Anti-Drug Superintendent, Danny Ferrer Sandrea.
In a review of this instance, published on his account on the social network Instagram, he specifies that Ferrer Sandrea, during the program “The National Anti-Drug Superintendency Always With You”, noted that during these operations, 6 thousand 104 people were arrested and 4 thousand 997 procedures were carried out.
The states that led these drug seizures were Zulia, Falcón and Táchira, while 398 aircraft used for illegal activities were neutralized.
These actions are part of the Bolivarian Government's commitment through the National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SNA), which focuses on the fight against corruption, organized crime, illegal drug trafficking and terrorism.
Ferrer Sandrea highlighted the crucial role of State institutions and Popular Power in this fight, stressing that the promotion of cultural, sporting and scientific values is key to preventing drug use.
The National Anti-Drug Plan 2026-2031 promotes an inclusive and participatory approach to combat illicit trafficking, control chemical substances, prevent misuse and address money laundering.
So far, more than 17,000 citizens have submitted proposals through digital platforms, with the goal of reaching 30,000 inquiries to ensure significant representation of Venezuelan society in the formulation of effective policies.
