Surgical day benefited 55 children from Maturín

A total of 55 boys and girls from the state of Monagas underwent surgery during the surgical day that took place at the Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar University Hospital in Maturín.

Sorenelly Zambrano de Luna , president of the Simón Monagas El Niño Regional Foundation, indicated that these days seek to respond to cases associated with umbilical and inguinal hernias, hydrocele and childhood phimosectomy.
The day was held to treat children from different municipalities in the state of Monagas and improve the quality of life of these patients who have had complications in the genital area, causing difficulties in the urinary tract.
In addition, it became known that
the cases were captured through the daily consultations offered by the El Niño Simón Children's Care Center, where all the relevant preoperative examinations were performed.
