The 51st anniversary of the Egyptian Victory is commemorated in Caracas

On the occasion of the commemoration of the 51st anniversary of the victory of the Egyptian people, the Arab country's ambassador to Venezuela, Kareem Amin, honored the Father of the Fatherland Simon Bolivar with a floral offering where his mortal remains rest in the Monumental Mausoleum of the Liberator Complex in Caracas.

The Head of Mission, who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Africa of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel, led the ceremony in which the national anthems of both countries were sung and the book of minutes was signed.

October 6, 1953 is the most important event in the history of Egypt in the second half of the 20th century, in which thousands of stories of heroism and sacrifice carried out with strategies at the highest military scale for the recovery of its territory are evidenced.

Venezuela and the Arab Republic of Egypt established diplomatic relations on November 15, 1950, they share emerging economies and are defenders of the demands of the Global South.

In this regard, both countries have signed agreements in energy, trade, agriculture, food, culture and education.
