The National Assembly (AN) initiated the National Public Consultation on the Bill for the Creation of the Victory Bicentennial Order of Ayacucho Award.

In this regard, the deputy María Gabriela Vega (PSUV/La Guaira), explained that the order, in its only class, will be aimed at praising citizens committed to defending the interests of the Homeland, the people and the Bolivarian Revolution.

Vega explained that the person deserving this award must have patriotism, honesty, a vocation for service, be efficient, be committed to the fight for the vindication of the principles of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Likewise, he pointed out, it must defend the right to self-determination of peoples and to non-interference in internal affairs, as well as in the frontal fight against fascism, neofascism and other similar expressions.
