The Bolivarian Government began the second phase of asphalting on the No. 1 ring road in Maracaibo, one of the main road arteries in the state of Zulia.
The governor of the entity, Luis Caldera, explained that the second phase of asphalting began with the installation of 32 thousand tons, which represent the bearing layer.
He stressed that this road is 24 kilometers long, with eight channels for vehicle traffic, as well as 680 luminaires that were placed and six bridges currently rehabilitated.
He also indicated that in the first phase, 75,000 tons of hot type three asphalt were placed.
“It is a work that President Nicolás Maduro undertook during a visit to the state of Zulia last year and is being carried out together with the Communes, the engineers of the entity and the institutions of the Bolivarian Government,” he said.
