In an effort to strengthen primary care in island areas of the country, the Together Everything Is Possible Corporation, under the management of its new president Aníbal Coronado, officially inaugurated this Holy Wednesday the Petra María Marcano Outpatient Clinic, located in Gran Roque.

The work represents a structural transformation of the healthcare center, where plastering work was carried out on internal walls, leaded and crystallized floors, in addition to the cladding of doors and windows.

To ensure patient comfort, they installed new ductwork and air conditioning systems. In addition, the work was completed with the installation of machimbrate on the façade and a comprehensive cleaning of all areas.

During the activity, Aníbal Coronado expressed the team's satisfaction at completing this work.

“A dream that this Wednesday of Holy Week, the people of Roqueño see come true. This benefits not only 2,300 people who live in the archipelago, but it is also available to domestic and foreign tourists,” he said.

For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Isabel Iturriza, described the reopening as an act of spiritual peace, focused on the Bolivarian Government's vision of well-being.

“Moment of peace, spiritual peace and life, which is what the Bolivarian Government is focused on,” said Iturriza, who also assured that the facilities were in top condition, up to what the local community and visitors deserve.

He also took the opportunity to invite seasonal workers to enjoy the archipelago with environmental awareness and peace of mind.

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, highlighted the impact that this rehabilitation has on the sector and the strategic value of Los Roques as an emblematic destination of the nation.

Cabello closed the day and stressed “the importance of having all the highest quality services” to enhance the tourist experience and guarantee the right to health in the insular territory.
