The Bolivarian Government has placed a total of 59,700 tons of asphalt in Anzoátegui, as well as the replacement of 4 sewers as part of the National Comprehensive Care Plan.

The information was released by the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis Marcano, together with the Minister of Transportation, Aníbal Coronado, during the official delivery of the rehabilitation of the first 15 kilometers of Troncal 014.

The authorities went through and verified all the tasks that were specifically carried out on the section that connects the Nazareth Cruise to the Santa Fe Cruise, in the municipality of Píritu,

In the same way, they stressed that this work represents the initial stage of a more ambitious project that seeks to recover a total of 64 kilometers of national road until it reaches the border with the state of Guárico and, to achieve this, it is estimated that almost 20,000 more tons of asphalt will be placed.

Thanks to the investment promoted by the National Government, the project is already registering an increase of more than 60% in the areas intervened.

Also, during the delivery, the regional president stressed that the recovery of this road has a strategic value for the agricultural and livestock development of the area, improving the connection between Anzoátegui and Guárico, since it generates a direct positive impact both on local producers in seven communes of Píritu and on the residents of neighboring communities, facilitating transport and trade.

On the other hand, Minister Coronado said: “Here we continue to move forward because the Bolivarian Revolution does not stop, it always moves forward, working hand in hand with the national, regional, municipal and communal governments.”

Finally, the authorities announced that the next phase of the project involves rehabilitating an additional 11 kilometers from the Santa Fe Cruise to São Paulo, an extension that will serve as a key link to strengthen the supply of products from the field to the states of Sucre and Monagas.
