The Bolivarian Government, through the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Public Services, builds a support wall and corrects a severe border flaw in the Puerto La Cruz - Cumaná section and on the Yaguaracual - Mochima route, in the Sacamanteca sector, in Cumaná, Sucre state.

The Minister of Popular Power for Public Works and Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan Ramírez Luces, through his Instagram account, explained that after prior rigorous technical evaluations, engineering teams detected a severe structural failure, notable subsidence in the pavement and loss of base and strong instability in the slope.

Due to the magnitude of these damages, vehicle passage through the area is currently restricted to a single bidirectional channel, so drivers are urged to travel with caution.

He stressed that these works are part of the immediate care plan for the country's road arteries, aimed at offering safe and optimal communication routes for the Venezuelan people and the productive sector that lives in the eastern region.

It is expected that the machinery and technical personnel will remain deployed in the Sacamanteca sector until the total consolidation of the work is achieved and the highway is fully opened.
