La governor of Delta Amacuro, Loa Tamaronis, announced the deployment of municipal, regional and national institutions in El Garcero and La Calceta, in connection with the advance of the flooding of the Orinoco River.
According to information published by Último Noticias, different State institutions have been activated to carry out preventive work at critical points in the state.
Asimismo, filling work was carried out with sandbags, draining and pumping water. In addition, a joint commission was formed to closely monitor the evolution of the situation.
