The Bolivarian Government, through the mayor's office of Mérida, began the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Plaza Glorias Patrias.

The work focuses on the total rehabilitation of the fountain in Plaza José Antonio Páez, which will receive new engines to reactivate its jets, in addition to a deep cleaning of the pool areas and monuments that presented a high degree of deterioration.

According to information released by the Government, this is possible thanks to an articulated effort between Mayor Nelson Álvarez and Governor Arnaldo Sánchez.

Ray Vielma, president of the Albarregas Metropolitan Park, stressed that the operation includes intensive maintenance of green areas and the sanitation of vulnerable spaces. In addition, the installation of modern pumping equipment.
