The Call for Research Projects led by women scientists is still open

The Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (Mincyt) reported that the Call for Research Projects under the Leadership of Women Scientists is still active, aimed at Venezuelan women residing in the country and registered in the Venezuelan Registry of Science, Technology and Innovation (RECITVEN).

Through the Telegram channel, the institution indicated that the process seeks to promote initiatives that strengthen women's participation in the production of knowledge and provide solutions to the needs of the population, in accordance with the Seven Transformations.

Applications may be submitted in strategic areas such as health, biomedicine, food safety, basic sciences, engineering, hydrocarbons, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, climate change, industrial productive development, social sciences and gender equity.

The MINCYT noted that this call is part of the actions promoted together with the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez to consolidate a scientific policy aimed at national development and the strengthening of women's leadership in the sector.

Interested parties can register their proposals until May 3 through the recitven.oncti.gob.ve portal.
