The entrepreneurial sector showed more than 50 applications at the “Venezuela Tech Week”

The coordinator of the Caracas Entrepreneur Movement, Luis Miguel Martínez, highlighted that at the “V Venezuela Tech Week”, more than 50 applications developed in various areas of entrepreneurship were presented.
During an interview on the program “Al Día”, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he added that the entrepreneurial sector is currently seeking the approaches that the Venezuelan economy needs, as well as seeking to be included in the economic engines of the Bolivarian agenda.
In the same way, he argued that the entrepreneur has seen the need to advance on this topic through training, training and knowledge of each process to adapt it to the Venezuelan reality. “It's necessary for everyone.”
He mentioned the call of the President (E) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, at the “Venezuela Tech Week"”, to Venezuelan youth to undertake together, united, “that is why we refer to the portal 'Renace Venezuela', which seeks precisely that talent of our young people, where they can register their socio-productive projects, in whatever they wish to undertake.”
He also spoke about the Start-Up Chapter, created by the president (E), where she stated that this helps expand processes for the entrepreneurial sector and the acceleration of projects. “This is how we saw at this congress more than 500 international participants and 200 international investment funds, who were surprised by Venezuelan inventiveness.”
In turn, he stressed that this population of entrepreneurs represents a valuable hope for the national economy, “so that in the future it can position itself as one of the most important in the world.”
He added that there are already more than two million entrepreneurs registered on the “Entrepreneur Together” platform, “because these people believe in Venezuela, believe in their country and see that the national government provides the necessary policies to develop this sector in the nation.”
He indicated that, of these more than two million, 64% are women and 67% are young people. This means that they see opportunities to innovate in their country, to grow, to generate jobs and to develop in other areas.
That is why he pointed out that the sector is not only focused on a single area, “not only on gastronomy; today Venezuela has textile development, primary production, among others, which also generate direct and indirect jobs.”
