The Government of Portuguesa carries out ophthalmological evaluation to the 14 municipalities of the entity

The government of the Portuguese state is carrying out a specialized day of free care for the 14 municipalities of the state.

This involves carrying out tests with the Misión Milagro mobile unit, which will be in the entity all week to evaluate and recruit patients with cataracts who will later receive surgical treatment. The day will last throughout the week and to date 160 patients from the municipalities of Agua Blanca, San Rafael de Oonto and Acarigua (Páez) have been treated.

The deployment of this mobile unit in Portuguesa takes place after 202 cataract and pterygium surgeries were performed in this state last week free of charge.
