The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, announced important advances in the construction of Plaza Bolívar de Coche, an emblematic project that pays homage to the Liberator Simon Bolivar and that adds to the public spaces dedicated to citizen encounters, tourism, recreation and culture in the Venezuelan capital.
In this regard, he explained that the work is in its final stage thanks to the efforts of a multidisciplinary team committed to the urban transformation of Caracas.
He added that the square will include green areas, cultural spaces, recreational areas and points of tourist interest, making it an ideal place for family and community recreation.
According to Meléndez, this project will not only embellish the Coche parish, but it will also strengthen the sense of identity and belonging of its inhabitants.
“We are working with dedication to provide the community with a decent space that honors the memory of our Liberator and that is a meeting point for peace, culture and joy,” he said during a recent inspection of the works.
