The Ministry of Transport has placed more than 600,000 tons of asphalt in the country

The popular power minister for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, stressed that 17 weeks after the implementation of the Asphalt Plan, more than 600,000 tons of asphalt have been installed nationwide, and more than 6,000 km of agricultural roads have been rehabilitated.
The leader of the portfolio indicated that in the Cojedeña entity, the figure amounts to 12 thousand tons of asphalt, in coordination with the government, and the People's Power, in order to expand work by more than 160 kilometers, to the Arismendi municipality in Barinas.
“We are committed to reaching Arismendi, where agricultural production will be much easier when these roads are 100% rehabilitated,” he said in a press release from the ministerial portfolio.
On the other hand, Governor Alberto Galíndez confirmed that, through State resources, an impetus is being given to the recovery of the passability of the entity's roads, to guarantee the economic development of the Cojedes and Barinas states.
