The national bowling team returned to Venezuela in the Ibero-American Championship in Cali, Colombia, with a total of 10 medals.
Of which three medals are gold, the same amount of silver and four bronze medals, according to the Ministry of Sports press.
Luis Rovaina stood out with four medals. In mixed doubles he won gold with his partner Karen Marcano; in singles he won silver in the all-event category and bronze in men's singles, and finally in men's doubles with Andrés Rodríguez he took third place.
For his part, Marcano also won gold in women's doubles with Patricia De Farías, in addition to silver in every women's event.
The women's participation culminated in team bronze in the quartet comprised of Patricia De Fanía, Karen Marcano, Adriana Flores and Dainett González.
Meanwhile, Miguel Valera won three medals. He won gold in men's doubles with his partner Gabriel Segovia, who won singles silver and bronze in every event.
The event brought together the elite and youth categories from 13 countries in the Americas.
