The national wrestling team won 13 medals at the Senior Pan American Championship in Mexico

The national wrestling team won 13 medals in the Senior Pan American Championship, which was held at the Nuevo León Unido Gymnasium in Monterrey, Mexico.

Venezuela won 5 silver medals and 8 bronze medals.

The bronze medals were won by: Wilfredo Rodríguez, José Díaz, Naholis Loyo, Jonayker Martínez, Leomar Cordero, Neiser Marion, Moisés Pérez and Steven Rodríguez.

While the silver medals were won by Astrid Montero, Nathaly Griman, Anthony Montero, Luis Avenaño and Mariana Rojas.

With these results, Venezuela closed its participation in third place in the Greco-Roman modality and fourth place in the free women's and free men's modalities.
