The People mobilized in Caracas to celebrate the International Day of the Family

The people of Caracas gathered in Plaza Venezuela to join the great national mobilization for the International Day of the Family.

The day brought together young people, women and older adults, who responded with enthusiasm to the festive call in the capital city, traveling the main road arteries to make visible the importance of the family nucleus in today's society.

The festival took place amid expressions of affection, joy and healthy coexistence among the attendees, he reported on his Venezolana de Televisión portal.

During the rally, the participants raised prayers and collective blessings with the firm purpose of promoting a Venezuela of peace and mutual respect. The event was consolidated as a meeting point for healthy recreation and the strengthening of social ties in the capital region.

For his part, the head of the Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, on his account on the social network Instagram, said that “with a heart full of joy, we accompany hundreds of homes that today are on the streets to bear witness to love, unity and faith in Christ.”

“This mobilization is the living reflection of the Venezuelan family: united, hardworking, full of hope and with a deep Christian vocation that impels it to move forward with joy in the face of any adversity,” he said.

He said that “in the midst of songs of praise, smiles and an atmosphere full of peace, the true commitment and love of our people is strongly felt. Seeing parents, children and grandparents marching together reminds us that Venezuelan homes are the firm foundation of our society.”

“We move forward, blessing the faith and unity of each of the families of our country that today are united in this beautiful bond of communion,” he added.

In addition, the Civil Security Corps deployed an operation on the road to ensure free traffic and the protection of all pedestrians.
