The play “José Gregorio Hernández: The Story” will premiere in Barquisimeto this Friday

The play “José Gregorio Hernández: The Story”
will arrive in Barquisimeto with several special presentations at the
Juares Theater, as part of the program of the Cultural Showcase of Lara, an
initiative that promotes the state as an artistic reference in the country.
The
performances are scheduled for Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, with
performances at different times: 3:00 in the afternoon, 6:00 in the afternoon and 7:00 at night, according to information
from Venezolana de Televisión.
During
a press conference, the president of the Juares Theater, Luisana Castillo, explained
that the choice of Lara as the stage responds to its importance as a religious tourism destination
in Venezuela.
He also assured that these
types of activities make it possible to strengthen the cultural offer and also promote
the economic movement of the region.
The
play stars actor David Pérez Chacón and presents a
human approach to the life of the so-called Doctor of the Poor, highlighting aspects of
his history, his vocation for service and the values that marked his legacy.
The staging also addresses issues such as reconciliation, hope and solidarity, values that have turned José Gregorio Hernández into a figure of great significance for Venezuelans.
