The Rain Plan has been activated to deal with incidents in Caracas

The Mayor's Office of Caracas announced this Saturday the activation of the Rain Plan to respond immediately to the effects recorded after rainfall in the capital.

Municipal crews responded to an emergency in the Macarao parish, El Ciprés sector, after the report of fallen trees in the area. The operation included verifying the area and removing material that obstructed the passage.

In different parts of the city, brigades from the Libertador Municipal Services Corporation and SupraCaracas carried out vegetable waste collection, debris removal and garbage management in order to reduce risks and keep public spaces operational.

The authorities asked the population to keep an eye out for new rains and to report any incident to the competent bodies.
