The directly owned company “Tres Raíces” is located in the 23 de Enero parish of Caracas, specifically in Zone E at the INCES Metalworking Training Center. It currently generates 125 jobs, 50 direct and 75 indirect.

It lives in the “Socialist Faith” commune, made up of 14 communal councils. This productive unit emerged in 2017, in the midst of economic war and shortages induced by the Venezuelan extreme right, so in this context, it was created to provide a response in the productive sphere to this brutal attack that the people suffered and thus guarantee the distribution of proteins in the point and circle, all under the organization of popular power and a new perspective on the country's economic development, says Eudi Otaiza.

In this socially owned company, an essay is carried out on how production fits into the territory, which highlights the formative impact that in areas such as pig raising and laying hens in the city of Caracas make this modality a revolutionary process. In other words, raising three thousand laying hens in the field is something everyday; but doing it in the country's capital with everything that management involves and having 85% of postures makes it something new and innovative, and is part of what the “Three Roots” production unit has achieved, in addition to currently raising 50 pigs.

So far, two plants are operating on site: a unit for the production of sausages and the other for balanced animal feed (pork, laying hens and broiler chicken). An interesting fact is that each product (flavor) in the sausage line has on its packaging the names of sectors of the parish 23 de Enero, for example, the garlic sector “La Cañada”, the smoked “El Mirador” and so on.

Also in the spaces of this productive unit there is a house for growing vegetables and productive patios.

It should be noted that the productive chain has a significant impact on the communal social management of this populous parish in the Venezuelan capital, which is also anchored to the policies of the social welfare state promoted by the Bolivian Government, under the vision of the new productive man capable of providing healthy, GMO-free and sovereign food for his community.

So to date, the socially owned company has the capacity to serve at least 500 families with its derivative products through the CLAP and community councils.

These would be derivative products that are distributed to families in the parish of 23 de Enero, thanks to the production of the social enterprise “Tres Raíces”: eggs, pork, sausages, mortadella and chicken, as well as vegetables, including chili, paprika, coriander, chives, tomatoes. They also include the distribution of other products, channeled through agreements signed with the Diana company and Topo producers, which are butter, oil and cheese, respectively.
