The United States government violated 14 international civil aviation agreements with the destruction of the EMTRASUR plane it stole from Venezuela, said Transportation Minister Ramón Velázquez Araguayán.
In this regard, Araguayán emphasized that these actions of imperialism will not succeed in undermining the morale of the workers of EMTRASUR and the Venezuelan people, which remains intact.
“They won't stop us, CONVIASA will continue to grow in planes, on routes. That demoralization that they intend to do to us is denied,” he said at the end of the great mobilization to commemorate 20 years since the declaration of our country as anti-imperialist.
On the other hand, the Head of State repudiated the destruction of this aircraft and described this action against our country as “outrageous”.
“They removed the color of the flag, took away the name Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, erased the name of EMTRASUR and then disbanded it to pieces. That is the hatred they have for dignified Venezuela,” he said.
