The parathlete Valeria Morales won her place in the Paris 2024
Paralympic Games, in the Pan-American Paralympic Qualifier held in the Dominican Republic.
The Venezuelan won the Olympic ticket in the -57kg K44 of Parataekwondo.
Morales became the fifth Venezuelan parathlete to
attend the Olympic event.
In the qualifier, 16 places were awarded to the world championship, the United
States and Brazil were left with 3 places each, the Dominican Republic,
Cuba and Chile with two each country, while Canada, Uruguay, Venezuela and Argentina, one each.
