This Tuesday, April 29, the electoral campaign for the elections of the National Assembly, Governorates and Legislative Councils 2025 officially begins, in accordance with the electoral schedule approved by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

The electoral body reported that from today until May 22, at 12:00 p.m., candidates will have the legally established space to present their proposals, ideas and management plans to the country, according to the position to which they are aspiring.

In the same way, as reported by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the CNE called on all organizations for political purposes, candidates, media and citizens in general, to promote a campaign that is “harmonious, constructive, respectful of electoral laws and regulations”.

Also, focused on the debate of ideas, committed to peace, ethics and conscious participation. In addition, he recalled that the electoral process is a fundamental expression of the power of the people, and its development must reflect plurality, respect and responsibility to the voters.

On May 25, elections will be held for governors, legislative councils and representatives of the National Assembly, with the participation of 6,687 candidates from 54 political organizations, including 36 for national, 10 regional and 8 indigenous purposes.
