This weekend begins the semifinals of the Women's Volleyball League

The teams of Caracas Sport Voley, Guacharas de Monagas, Centellas de Guayana and Universitarias de Miranda are the four teams qualified for the semifinals in the first edition of the Professional Women's Volleyball League of the 2026 season.

On the last day of the regular round, Caracas Sport Voley shared honors with Universitarias de Miranda, sealing their way to the next round, the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports details in a press release.

Despite the defeat at the closing, Caracas Sport Vole and secured first place in the standings with a record of 16 wins and 4 losses.

For their part, the Universitarias de Miranda slipped into the next round in fourth place in the table with 8 wins and 12 setbacks.

The Guacharas de Monagas team maintained second place with a balance of 15 wins and 5 losses.

Centellas de Guayana consolidated the third place in the table after beating the La Guaira Nationals in the double round and thus becoming the third place finisher.

The semifinal round will be played in the best of three games.

The crosses of this round will face the leader Caracas Sport Voley against Universitarias de Miranda at the Gastón Portillo Gymnasium in Caracas on May 22, 23 and 24.

In the other key, Centellas de Guayana and Guacharas de Monagas will face each other at the Gilberto Roque Morales Gymnasium in Maturín during the same dates.

The grand final of the Women's Professional Volleyball League is scheduled for May 29, 30 and June 1.
