To UK women's basketball! Estefani Fajardo will wear the Sheffield Hatters jersey

Venezuelan center Estefani Fajardo is moving to basketball in Europe, after being announced as the new member of the Sheffield Hatters team for the 2026-2027 Super League Basketball campaign.

The information was released by Sheffield Hatters through an official statement published on its social networks and website.

“It will be a new experience for me, as I'm coming to the UK to play for the first time. The Sheffield facilities are incredible,” said the criolla, speaking for her new club.

She also said she was very excited to join the Hatters and start the season.

The criolla comes from playing with the Talar team from Argentina. He also has extensive experience in leagues in Spain, Portugal, Bosnia, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay.

In his last team, he was established in the Argentine Super Cup, being part of the ideal quintet, leaving averages of 10 points, 7.5 sacks, 1.1 steals, in a total of 39 games.

The woman from Caracas is part of the National Basketball Team, with which she qualified for the FIBA Americup 2027.
