The Under-17 Women's National Team will debut this Wednesday in the South American Championship in Colombia, against its counterpart from Chile.

The match will be played at the Palogrande stadium in Manizales, at 5:30 in the afternoon (Venezuela time).

The Vinotinto Women's Under-17 National Team is led by coach Dayana Frías from Larense and is part of group A along with Argentina, Paraguay, Chile and local Colombia.

Those called up by the U17 Women's Vinotinto: Goalkeepers: Valeria Rebanales (Adiffem) and Ivana Veloz (Academia Yurubí). Defenders: Ariana Cova (Caracas Football Club), Dayerlis Adrián, Gilary Díaz (Caracas Football Club), Nazareth Zambrano, Estefany Neiro (Adiffem), Amanda Gugliotta (USA).

Midfielders: Anggely Muñoz (Deportivo Táchira), Valeria Rojas (ULA FC), Melanie Chirinos (Adiffem), Juneski Flores, Ailing Herrera (Caracas Football Club), Juliana Vásquez (Secasport), Claudia Pérez (Deportivo Miranda) and Erika Bovell (Kansas Rush 2009, USA). Forwards: Orliany Durán (ULA FC), Avril Mejía ( Araraquara Railway, BRA), Diana Bravo (Adiffem), Camila Leal (Adiffem), Marielbis Gutierrez and Anabella Figueredo (Secasport)

The teams that occupy the first three positions in each group will qualify for the second round. In the final phase, a single-round league will be played.

The first four teams in the standings will qualify for the World Cup in Morocco this year.
