Towards the five million registered women, census of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission advances

A total of 4 million 997 thousand women across the country have registered with the Great Mission of Venezuela Women (GMVV), said the Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, Dheliz Álvarez, during an event where she specified that 99,25 Women's Committees have been formed throughout the territory.
Álvarez, met during this working day with the entire national structure, coordinators, state teams and leaders of the Homeland, as responsible for energizing the six vertices that make up this Great Mission.
The activity was held in commemoration of the celebration of International Women's Month, in this regard, the minister emphasized that “for the Bolivarian Revolution, every month is for Venezuelan women and the GMVM comes to protect and accompany our women, Venezuelan women, in all their stages every day of the year.”
“The Great Mission continues to be strengthened,” said Álvarez, adding that the national structure is working on “activities that will strengthen women in health, in education, in their economic empowerment, independent women, accompanying women victims of violence, in addition to preventing violence against our women. Also, participatory and leading women and women in culture”.
For her part, the deputy to the National Assembly and feminist leader, María León, exalted that “this line of work that Commander Chávez outlined for us is growing every day; I am proud to see the leadership of each one of you, because I see how our level has risen”.
The deputy called for reflection on the increase in the number of femicides inside and outside our borders.
