After touring the country with more than 60 performances, Trova Fest Venezuela will celebrate its first anniversary this Saturday, February 28 with a concert at the Teatro Bolívar in Caracas, where a tribute will be paid to the “Cantor del Pueblo”, Ali Primera, 41 years after his planting.

The activity that will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon, with free admission, will include the participation of Lilia Vera, Sol Mussett, Leonel Ruiz, Ali Alejandro Primera, Sandino Primera and the Colibrí del Chiquero, Oriana Ramos, William Alvarado, Dame Pa' Matala, Ensamble B11, Truko “The Owner of the Muse” and the National Theater Movement “César Rengifo”.

The event was announced by singer-songwriters Oriana Ramos, Ali Alejandro Primera, Sandino Primera and Belkys Figuera (B11), accompanied by the director of the Teatro Bolívar, Carolina Cestari.

The singer Oriana Ramos highlighted that this stage starts under the motto “We continue to sing”, a call for new generations to create from the current contexts.

For his part, Ali Alejandro Primera explained that the name of the festival seeks to project Venezuelan song towards generational internationalization. In addition, Sandino Primera thanked the Teatro Bolívar for its support to integrate emerging groups with new formats, such as Ensamble B11.

In that regard, Cestari recalled the poetry of Ali Primera and reaffirmed the institution's commitment to culture. “The song has united us in these years of struggle... We immediately put these spaces to order because we believe that the places that have been recovered in Revolution must serve fundamentally to ensure that the message of hope, dialogue, love, sovereignty, self-determination and struggle are at the order of all talents,” he said.

The event is supported by the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture and the César Rengifo Movement. In addition to the concert, attendees will be able to enjoy cafeteria and gastronomy services within the theater facilities.
