With a large scale export model, Inversiones Agropecuaria La Perla consolidates Trujillo state as the largest banana producer in Venezuela, in the La Ceiba municipality of the state, from where it ships up to 12 containers of fresh fruit weekly to the central and eastern regions of the country.

This agro-industrial infrastructure projects entry into the nation through formal exports to demanding international markets in Europe and Asia, such as Belgium and Türkiye.

“We project 60 tons per year to achieve the global goal of one million 20-kilogram boxes in our first 300-hectare block,” explained the general manager of agriculture, Juan Vera, who explained that the planned expansion to 2,000 hectares for the next seven years will generate a thousand containers per year per phase.

The corporation's financial leverage has the strategic support of the national and regional Executive, ensuring economic viability and generating more than 300 direct local jobs, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Communication and Information.

Agropecuaria La Perla consolidates the first part of its banana project, which successfully supplies the domestic market,” said the governor of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, during the technical inspection of the company, in which he formally authorized the development of 300 additional hectares, backed by the successful record of 240 tons already exported to Europe.
