During the first week of June, the National Assembly (AN) intends to approve, in a second discussion, the Coffee and Cocoa bills, respectively, said the president of the Legislative Branch, Jorge Rodríguez.

In a meeting with producers from the state of Trujillo, as part of the second stage of the National Pilgrimage to demand an end to sanctions against the country, Rodríguez highlighted the importance of these legal texts for the protection of these items and of producers.

In addition, the parliamentarian called on the Trujillo authorities to move forward in the recovery of roads so that producers can mobilize the different sectors that exist in the fertile lands of the Andean entity.

“We have to finish the two important bridges such as the Paradero and the La Garita bridges, and we are close to finishing them. In addition, we are going with a comprehensive rehabilitation of the bridge over the Socata River so that they can have agricultural mobility work in Trujillo,” he stressed.

On the other hand, the deputy highlighted the importance of lifting the sanctions imposed on our country so that prosperity overflows the Andean entity. “If, in a time of sanctions and blockades, we manage to overcome them with our determination, our courage, what will be the day the sanctions are lifted. When that day they will see how the prosperity of the Trujillo state will be even greater,” he stressed.
