The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed this Thursday the pride in the women fighters of the People and
criticized the hatred demonstrated by sectors of the extreme right towards the Chavistas.
“We are proud of Venezuelan women (...)
they think they're going to come and offend us,” Cabello said, reading the
misogynistic comments posted on social media by some representatives of
right-wing extremism.
From Valera, in the state of Trujillo, during a massive
rally in support of the revolutionary forces candidate Nicolás
Maduro, he indicated that these characters “can do with their lives as they see fit and we all have to respect each other. If the person is a Christian
we respect them, if they are Catholic we respect them, if they don't believe in anyone we respect them, if they think they are
saints we respect them”.
Cabello emphasized that “Venezuela has achieved these levels of
tranquility and stability, thanks to the Bolivarian Revolution and thanks to the
efforts of brother President Nicolás Maduro,” who has called for dialogue with
all sectors of the country on repeated occasions.
