TSJ participated in the preparatory meeting for the Ibero-American Judicial Summit

Representatives of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) of Venezuela participated in the online conference of the First Preparatory Meeting of the XXIII Ibero-American Judicial Summit, an event that ended at the National Palace of Justice in Lima, Peru.
The representation of the Venezuelan Judiciary acted together with delegations from the 23 member nations at the working tables of the international event.
During the three days of the institutional meeting, the national delegation was made up of the magistrate of the Constitutional Chamber, representative of the Supreme Court at the above-mentioned summit and president of the Ibero-American Institute for Higher Judicial Studies (IIAEJ ), Michel Adriana Velásquez Grillet.
In addition, Judge Inocencio Antonio Figueroa Arizaleta, member of the Electoral Chamber, coordinator of the Supreme Court's Committee on Relations with Universities and Academia, and member of the technical team of the aforementioned training corporation, participated.
The closing of the activity formalized the signing of the act that consolidates the plans and agreements discussed.
The closing speeches were given by the permanent secretary of the summit and minister of the Supreme Court of Justice of Uruguay, John Pérez Brignani; the pro tempore secretary and president of the Superior Court of Justice of Brazil, Herman Benjamín; and the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Peru and the Judiciary, Janet Tello Gilardi.
This deployment seeks to optimize technological innovation in justice systems with a view to the Plenary Assembly scheduled for 2027 in the Brazilian nation.
