Turkish President Erdogan: Israel attacks Iran with the unlimited support of the West

The president of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accused the West of supporting Israel without restrictions in its policy of attacking Iran.

“Israel, which attacks Iran with the unlimited support of the West, devastates Gaza and mocks every country in the region; it doesn't understand what it's doing. Perhaps in the future he will understand his mistake, but we fear that it will be too late,” he said after a meeting with his cabinet.

The president stressed that the conflict is not limited to the territories directly involved, since “every event in the region affects all societies and has consequences in the medium and long term.”

In this regard, he insisted on the need for a diplomatic solution to avoid major repercussions in the region, according to a note from the Sputnik web portal.

On June 13, Israel launched attacks on strategic installations in Iran, arguing that it seeks to avoid a threat to its national security. In response, Iran launched an offensive against Zionist regime territory.
