UCV FC champion of the 2025 FUTVE League Apertura Tournament

UCV FC was the champion of the 2025 Apertura Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League), after defeating the favorite Deportivo Táchira 1-0 at the Olympic stadium in the capital city.
In the 61st minute Kendrys Silva sent the ball to the back of the net, which ended up becoming the only goal from the center and the one that gave him the victory and the first Apertura Tournament for the Tricolor team.
With this championship, UCV FC secured its participation in the 2026 Copa Libertadores and in the absolute final of the FUTVE League.
For its part, the Aurinegro club has already secured its place in the Copa Sudamericana next year.
