The British Government announced the extension of its list of sanctions against the Russian Federation, adding 18 additional companies identified for their alleged collaboration with the financial and strategic sector. The measure seeks to intensify economic pressure and limit the supply of technological and financial resources to the Kremlin.

Among the companies included in the blacklist are Nueva Cryptologia, based in El Salvador, and Huobi Global, established in Panama. These designations are part of a strategy to curb the use of virtual assets and digital platforms as indirect routes for evading international sanctions.

In addition to Central American and Panamanian companies, the list includes operating entities in Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, the Marshall Islands, the United Kingdom itself and Russia. The regulation involves the freezing of assets under British jurisdiction and prohibits any citizen or company of the United Kingdom from maintaining business relations with the above-mentioned entities.

This new round of sanctions reinforces London's commitment to strict control over networks that provide economic services to Russia. The British Government will continue to monitor compliance with these restrictions to ensure that strategic resources do not reach sanctioned sectors.
