The humanitarian coordinator of the United Nations (UN) for the Palestinian territories, Muhanad Hadi, reported that nearly 90% of the people living in Gaza have been displaced by constant Israeli bombardments.
“They are forcing families to flee again, often under fire and with the few things they can carry with them, to an increasingly smaller, crowded and insecure area,” he said.
He accused Israel of endangering the Palestinian civilian population, since in this month of August, 12 evacuation orders have been registered without any guarantee of protection against Zionist attacks.
The area is currently about 42 square kilometers, or 11% of the total size of the Gaza Strip. According to estimates by the Israeli Army , about 1.9 million Palestinians out of the 2.3 million inhabitants of Gaza reside in the area, according to a note from Sputnik.
