The leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong-un, reaffirmed to the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoigu, that his country will continue to unconditionally support the Kremlin's position and foreign policy.

The statement of the president of the DPRK addresses crucial international political issues, including the Ukrainian problem. In this regard, he pledged to “responsibly comply” with the provisions of the Comprehensive Partnership Treaty signed with Russia, the KCNA news agency reported.

Kim Jong-un expressed his hope and conviction that Russia will surely prevail in the sacred and just cause of safeguarding the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the media said after the meeting between the two authorities.

Likewise, Kim Jong-un and Shoigu highlighted “their fully shared positions”, maintaining “a wide exchange of views and opinions of the leaders of the two countries on the development of the situation in Ukraine and the international and regional situation”.
