The Venezuelan Hydrocarbons University and the University of the Communes (Unacom) consolidate a strategic alliance aimed at creating a knowledge accreditation program in communal territories. The fundamental purpose of this initiative is to promote the development of the country's oil and gas industry through technical training. It should be noted that the project seeks to integrate academic knowledge with the operational capacities of organized bases to increase efficiency in the national energy sector.

In this regard, the rector of Unacom, Jorge Arreaza, stated that communes have the professional talent necessary to assume the current economic cycle and act as a lever for productive diversification. “It is the epicenter of the training and accreditation of knowledge required by the sector,” said the university authority during the announcement of the agreement. In this sense, it is intended that the environment adjacent to the operational areas be transformed into a space for permanent training for workers and youth.

From this perspective, the academic initiative encourages the responsible execution of energy projects through the formation of organized communities. It should be noted that this comprehensive union makes it possible to strengthen the hydrocarbon industry from its social and technical bases, guaranteeing the accreditation of knowledge in the territory. In this way, the commitment to sovereign growth and the specialization of human talent in strategic areas for the prosperity of the nation is consolidated.
