At the end of a meeting with the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, the Secretary of Energy of the United States (USA), Christopher Wright, stated that “if we work together this year we can increase the production of oil, natural gas and electric energy in Venezuela.”
Wright said that “we have talked about the enormous natural resources that Venezuela has, oil, natural gas and minerals that are scarce,” while noting that the dialogue held with the President in Charge was “wonderful and very sincere”.
“We speak very frankly about the problems and challenges that we can solve to bring new opportunities,” he said and assured that on the part of the administration of US President Donald Trump, there is a “commitment to transform the relationship between the United States and Venezuela.”
