USA: At least 2 fatalities and 9 injuries were recorded in a shooting in Philadelphia

In a shooting that took place Monday night in a park in the city of Philadelphia, on the east coast of the United States (USA), at least two people lost their lives and nine were injured, Telesur said.

The event took place around 10:30 (local time) on Monday in the city's Fairmount Park, where a large number of people had gathered.

Police indicated that the shooting occurred after a car demonstration event, where at least one individual was hit by a vehicle.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel confirmed that a total of 11 individuals, including three young people aged 15, 16 and 17, suffered gunshot wounds.
