Three new exhibitions were inaugurated at the Valencia Art Museum (MUVA) to kick off a new artistic season in the Carabobeña entity. The exhibitions “Inventory II: Open Vaults”, “Legacy and Transcendence” and “Hitoto: Body and Form” bring together proposals related to national plastic heritage, artistic training and contemporary exploration.

The event was attended by the Minister for Culture, Raúl Cazal; the Deputy Minister of Image and Space Arts, Mary Pemjean; the first lady of Carabobo, Nancy de Lacava, and regional cultural authorities.

During the inauguration, Cazal highlighted the historical value of the works exhibited and stated that this proposal allows the public to relive and appreciate Venezuelan plastic arts with a new perspective. In addition, he highlighted the work of the Arturo Michelena School of Arts in training new generations of artists.

For his part, Pemjean noted that the exhibitions represent an opportunity to appreciate “the diverse and great Venezuelan culture” and highlighted the wide participation of the public in the spaces of the MUVA.

The exhibitions will be open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon, as part of the cultural program planned for this new artistic season.
