The Venezuelan state tourism operator (VENETUR) is advancing a
new international marketing strategy with the installation of an
office in Mexico City, aimed at promoting the Venezuelan destination
to tour operators in that country.
The
initiative was presented during a virtual meeting led by the
Deputy Minister of International Tourism, Marcos
Medina; the president of VENETUR, Dheliz
Álvarez; and the Venezuelan ambassador to Mexico, Stella Lugo.
The
project seeks to expand the projection of domestic tourism and consolidate the
Country Brand in a strategic market, by strengthening alliances and cooperation routes
for international promotion.
During
the day, it was highlighted that the new headquarters will facilitate the exchange of
visitors and will allow the Venezuelan tourist offer to be positioned in the
Mexican market, contributing to the development of a diverse and productive economy.
The proposal is part of the actions aimed at promoting inbound
tourism and strengthening Venezuela's presence on the
international stage, through promotional strategies and institutional coordination
.
