Venezuela advances in regenerative agriculture and livestock projects

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is making progress in the formulation of regenerative agriculture and livestock projects, as well as genetic improvement and strengthening the role of peasant women in the country.
On this occasion, the Minister of the People's Power of Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, held a fruitful high-level meeting with the director general of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Dr. Qu Dongyu, to strengthen the agricultural sector.
It became known that the dialogue made it possible to agree on lines of technical cooperation aimed at increasing productivity, sustainability and resilience in the face of the climate crisis.
It should be noted that Venezuela recognizes the role of FAO in strengthening national capacities, in addition to highlighting the strategic importance of strengthening Technical Cooperation Programs to maintain and expand the results obtained.
