Venezuela and Brazil evaluate non-oil trade

Venezuela and Brazil agreed to set up a high-level working table to strengthen binational integration and boost non-oil trade, as part of a strategy aimed at diversifying economic exchange between the two nations.
During the day, the Deputy Minister of International Trade Policy, Andreina Tarazón, stressed that the initiative seeks to expand the export supply and deepen technological and inter-industrial cooperation. “It is imperative to deepen technical and political dialogue to raise levels of exchange,” he said, a Venezuelan Television review.
Both delegations agreed to design a joint work route to identify complementary needs, promote investments and achieve a mutually beneficial exchange that boosts the economic growth of both countries.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Laudemar Aguiar, Secretary of Trade Promotion, Science, Technology, Innovation and Culture; Ambassador Glivânia Maria de Oliveira; and Minister Counselor Rodrigo Coelho.
