An official delegation from the Ministry of People's Power for Tourism and its affiliated entities participated in the Bilateral Tourism Management Seminar held in the city of Haikou, in the People's Republic of China.
This international meeting, organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the Asian nation, was consolidated as a space for high-level technical cooperation aimed especially at officials, academics and industry professionals from allied countries in Latin America.
During the training sessions, the Venezuelan delegation evaluated the design of new promotional strategies aimed at projecting identity, cultural traditions and national heritage as the main attracting attractions for the Asian outbound market.
In addition, the working groups analyzed sustainable management models focused on boosting local economies through efficient collection mechanisms and the financing of socio-productive projects in the receiving regions.
The training program also focused its agenda on the transfer of knowledge on international standards of quality, hospitality and operational efficiency, with the objective of implementing these methodologies directly in the Caribbean nation's hotel network.
In the same way, new technological tools and digital campaigns specifically structured to position national destinations under the premises of security, biodiversity and multi-destination were defined.
