Venezuela and Colombia held Second Binational Meeting to strengthen cooperation ties

The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, reported that he held his second Binational Meeting with the governor of Norte de Santander, William Villamizar.
“We are meeting with our mayors to discuss important safety and environmental issues,” Bernal said.
For his part, the governor of New Granada expressed his pleasure in working on border integration and working for two sister nations, and he also announced that this coming April 26, “the Binational Border Summit will be held where the issue of trade and security will be addressed.”
This meeting is the reason for the instructions given by the presidents of both nations, Nicolás Maduro and Gustavo Petro, with the objective vision of continuing to strengthen bilateral relations.
