In order to continue strengthening bilateral relations and promoting Peace Diplomacy in Geneva, the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Tuesday with the Foreign Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner. At the meeting, held in the context of the 61st session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations Organization, “we reaffirm our diplomatic ties within the framework of South-South cooperation,” the Venezuelan representative said on his Telegram channel. During the dialogue, the authorities exchanged perspectives on the global challenges faced by their countries in the shared search for peace and stability for their peoples, especially in a context marked by the revival of political positions that are incompatible with these struggles. Also, “we address the imperative need to rebuild the multilateral system that convenes us in Geneva,” said Foreign Minister Gil.
