Venezuela and Egypt reaffirm ties of brotherhood before the Liberator Simon Bolivar

On the occasion of the
commemoration of the National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Deputy Minister
for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of Popular Power for
Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh Moreno; and the Egyptian ambassador accredited to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Kareem Essameldin Amin, made a floral offering
this Tuesday
before the sarcophagus of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, in the National Pantheon, in
Caracas.
Durante The
ceremony, which ratified the bonds of fraternity between Caracas and Cairo, which
date back to 1950, sounded the notes of Glory to the Brave People and the anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
El solemn ceremony
was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, officials
of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry and Lidia Ali Mostafá Abbas, wife of the Egyptian Ambassador.

the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, commemorated
with Ambassador Kareem Amin the “Revolution of July 23,
1953", at the Embassy of Egypt in Caracas, where they recalled that both
countries will celebrate 75 years of bilateral relations on November 15.
También in
July, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister held a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart
, Badr Abdelatty, to exchange views on the initiative of the head
of state, Nicolás Maduro, to convene a World Summit for Peace and against War.
